"When we purchased our condo, my daughter asked: ?Does this mean we won?t see Lisa any longer?" Sounds a bit unusual but we came to know Lisa so well she felt like family.
I was a ?challenging? client. Not a lot of room in my budget and limitations on where I was willing to live and a long list of ?must haves?. We made offers and investors offered a bit more but in cash. I couldn?t compete very well in this ever changing post fall market.
But Lisa never gave up. I started to give up more than once but Lisa was pretty supportive. We were long past the point where a commission would reasonably compensate her for her time but she stuck with us until we had the walls painted and were moving in. In the neighborhood I wanted, in the price range I could afford and with everything I demanded. Lisa has been by since then and I still call her when I have questions.
I honestly thought I?d never own my own home and now it?s been seven months. I still worry, what sane person wouldn?t worry in these times, but I have never regretted the journey or the purchase.
